Job Title: Oracle ERP Applications Analyst
Location: Remote, VA

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced ERP Applications Analyst to provide short-term contract support for our Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation. This role will focus on preparing for system go-live, stabilizing operations post-go-live, and supporting end users. Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP knowledge is required. 

This is NOT a systems development role. Please do not submit developers to this role!

Timeline that must be followed:

October – Pre-Go-Live Preparation

System Readiness & Validation

  • Assist with final end-to-end testing (GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Integrations).
  • Validate role assignments, workflow configurations, and segregation of duties.
  • Support mock cutover activities and validate data migration.

Issue Tracking & Resolution

  • Log, triage, and escalate issues to Implementor or Oracle SRs as needed.
  • Document recurring issues and help create quick reference guides for business users.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

  • Assist with creating/reviewing job aids for system navigation and common transactions.
  • Act as IT liaison for functional SMEs (helping bridge technical vs. business understanding).Beneficial to understand Oracle Fusion ERP functional processes.

Cutover Planning Support

  • Validate technical steps in cutover checklist.
  • Confirm user provisioning and workflow approvals.
  • Support data reconciliation and trial runs for file transfers. Training provided for this process. 

November–January – Post-Go-Live Hypercare & Stabilization

User Support & Troubleshooting

  • Serve as Level 2 support for tickets logged in ServiceNow (access issues, transaction errors, workflow bottlenecks).
  • Troubleshoot integration errors.
  • Escalate critical defects to Oracle SRs or Implementor.

System Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Monitor scheduled jobs and integrations.
  • Validate file transfers between various systems such as Oracle Cloud ERP. Training provided. Beneficial to have knowledge of Oracle ERP and file transfer processes.

Business Support & Adoption

  • Provide end-user support for Oracle ERP issues. 
  • Develop FAQs and troubleshoot recurring “how-to” questions from users.
  • Identify training gaps and suggest reinforcement sessions.

  • ServiceNow Ticketing system or similar ticketing system Highly desired 3 Years
  • Oracle Cloud Certifications Nice to have
