A. SUMMARY

Seeking proposals from prospective Offerors to provide one (1) LeapWork test scripting resource. The LeapWork test scripting resource will support the Quality Assurance team, on testing diverse applications within the Maryland Judiciary Information Systems department.

B. OFFEROR RESOURCE QUALIFICATIONS

The Offeror shall propose resource(s) that meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management systems, or a related field (as determined by the AOC).
  • Valid Leap Work Test Automation Certification received within the three (3) years prior the closing date of this PORFP.

C. SCOPE OF WORK

Offeror proposed resource(s) shall be responsible for the following:

  • Providing plan, design, script and deployment of scripts for JIS applications within the JIS testing environments.
    • Resource shall assist the AOC in all technical aspects and assure the completion of any assigned project.
    • Resource shall perform configuration and development activities specific to the LeapWork test scripting solution, and in accordance with the mutually agreed upon requirements, at that time, of the AOC.
    • Resource shall train the QA staff on more efficient ways to handle certain LeapWork functions and transfer knowledge.
    • Resource shall provide technical leadership and guidance on LeapWork test scripting and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices.
  • Support for LeapWork modules with the following tasks:
    • Build LeapWork framework based upon prioritized test cases, mentorship of QA resources on best practices by jointly developing test flows. Meet with client to transition hand-over work document.
    • Develop test scenarios based on the application requirements.
    • Create detailed documentation of test cases and automation logic.
    • Develop manual test scripts from which the automated test scripts will be based.
    • Create automated test flows within the LeapWork platform for each identified process.
    • Document all the troubleshooting steps and efforts.
    • Create reports on test execution results and defect logging.
    • Create user training materials for maintaining and expanding automation efforts.
  • The AOC reserves the right to request services for new, existing, or rebranded modules, or other product offerings available from LeapWork test scripting not identified in this PORFP.

D. OFFEROR RESOURCE(S) SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & CAPABILITIES

Offeror shall propose resource(s) possessing the following preferred skills, experience, and capabilities:

a. Experience:

  • Ten (10) years’ experience in all aspects of the Quality Assurance process, including review of requirements, design of scenarios and scripts and development of QA tools test scripts.
  • Eight (8) years of said experience attained in different platforms of Information Technology development environment, such as cloud computing and on-premise solutions,
  • Three (3) engagements with LeapWork test scripting within the previous thirty-six (36) months
  • Tracking tools (e.g., Service Now).
  • Automated testing tools such as LeapWork, Selenium, Silk Test, Rational Functional Tester.

b. Ability to:

  • Thoroughly document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Interpret test cases for high-level and functional processes.
  • Work effectively in a virtual team environment.

c. Knowledge of:

  • Testing methodology and practices.
  • Relevant operating systems and software development fundamentals.
  • SQL at a basic level.
  • Web Applications.
  • Desktop Applications.
  • Data Driven Automation.
  • Reusability and Sub-flows.
  • Locator Control in Automation.
  • Schedules and Run Lists.
  • Reports and Dashboards.
  • Performance Troubleshooting Specialist.
  • System test life cycle, review process, and test case documentation.
  • Agile, Scrum, waterfall methodologies
  • Process and gap analysis skills
