One of our direct clients is actively seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. This person will be responsible for creating and designing technical documents such as manuals, reports, brochures, or articles.

The ideal candidate is an excellent writer. He/she is able to convey technical concepts in simple, clear instructions with detailed images such as charts or diagrams. He/she will be intimately familiar with the product features and functionalities. 


Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months+ extension




Job Duties

The duties of a Technical Writer include, but are not limited to:
• Develops technical systems support and knowledgebase documents;
• Reviews and approves content to be published to a centralized knowledgebase;
• Develops technical system implementation and configuration documentation and related technical support user guides and procedures guides;
• Develops end user training documentation and guides;
• Reviews, validates and updates technical system and support documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English or Technical Writing is required
  • Three years of recent experience is preferred  
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience working independently, setting tasks and timelines and meeting those goals
