Job Title: Instructional Systems Designer
Location: Remote, MD

SUMMARY:

Seeking proposals from prospective Offerors to provide one (1) Instructional Systems Designer/Documentation Specialist. The Instructional Systems Designer/Documentation Specialist will design, develop, and enhance online coursework and documentation.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Offeror proposed resource(s) shall be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and developing new self-paced online lessons and videos.
  • Revising existing interactive self-paced online lessons and videos.
  • Utilizing Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, and/or Camtasia for training development, which may include multimedia components.
  • Assisting with all functions necessary to create, edit, and disseminate instructional technical documentation and training resources as assigned (e.g., Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, Instructional Manuals, Instructional Videos).
  • Attend meetings as necessary.

OFFEROR RESOURCE(S) SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & CAPABILITIES

Offeror shall propose resource(s) possessing the following preferred skills, experience, and capabilities:

  • Five (5) years of experience:
    • Designing self-paced online content for adult learners.
    • Creating multimedia and SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) compliant learning using Articulate Storyline 360 and Articulate Rise
  • Two (2) years of experience conducting quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, design functionality, and compliance of eLearning content
  • Experience with:
    • Vyond, or similar platform, to create video components within training.
    • Learning management systems and content integration.
    • Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
  • Ability to:
    • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders within the Judiciary.
    • Meets deadlines and manage deliverables on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Communicate effectively.
    • Accept and address constructive feedback.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Adult learning theory and principles, and best practices for self-paced online eLearning delivery.
