Job Title: Sr PowerBuilder Developer
Location: Richmond, VA

Project: Project Lighthouse backfill to maintain IRMS legacy systems and develop interfaces between GentTax and IRMS systems during the modernization period to support all four rollouts 

Client is seeking an experienced, senior-level PowerBuilder developer to provide analysis, support, and maintenance for the IRMS legacy system, as well as development and implementation of the GenTax–IRMS interface under the direction of client. This individual will work collaboratively in a team environment.

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Technical knowledge in designing, developing and maintaining TAX processing and revenue management systems
  • Product knowledge of IRMS system and/or functional knowledge.

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work well in a team.
  • Interact with a multi-disciplined team to clarify analyze, assess requirements-
  • Work independently and collaboratively on a multi-disciplined project team in an Agile development environment.
  • Contribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions to support the implementation PowerBuilder Applications

Skill Matrix:

  • Hands-on experience developing Powerbuilder applications using PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher Required 7 Years
  • Design and develop clear and maintainable code Required 5 Years
  • Team Foundation (Azure Dev Ops) Server and it’s use to support version control, and application lifecycle management Required 5 Years
  • Experience working with Agile/scrum project management methodologies Required 2 Years
  • Able to work independently as well as in a teamwork environment Required 2 Years
  • Pay attention to details and have a result driven mind set Required 2 Years
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. Able to coordinate with other application development teams, team leads business analysts. Required 2 Years
  • Hands-on experience using Relational Databases, such as Oracle 19C or highter or MySQL or similar Required 7 Years
  • Design and develop clear and maintainable code Required 7 Years
  • Product knowledge of IRMS system and/or functional knowledge. Highly desired 7 Years
